Robotics
We started robotics class last Monday. The people gave us a bucket with a whole bunch of screws and motors and a big book with like 100 steps. They told us the objective was to make a functional robot that can move and pick up things. The first thing they told us to do was to take inventory. My partner and I checked the bucket and it seemed like it was some pieces missing but when we tried to ask the guy, he just basically ignored me and told me to get back to work. So we just tried to follow the instructions in the book even tho the book didn't really match the stuff in the bucket. The hardest part so far is probably screwing the tiny little screws in the tight spaces. Today we actually got further than I thought because of how we struggled last week. Usually, I don't like to work in groups but I do't mind working in a group if my partner or partners are reliable. I think robotics is important because we need people to keep up with the the development of new technologies and invent things as time goes by.We have rockets going up in space and to Mars. I don't think I can really see myself doing that kind of job.
You may have a career in robotics whether you realize it or not. Computers are technically a form of robotics. Pretty much everything in the medical field anymore is centered around being able to operate robotic equipment.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work, my friend.
